The Somali people follow with great pride and honor the launch of the Somali Council of Presidential Candidates – SPCC, this inclusive national framework that represents a true beacon of hope amid the challenges facing our country.

The Council is led by a constellation of distinguished national competencies:
President: Dr. Abdulkadir
A leader of the stature of a nation, a man of vision and political experience to wisely lead this phase.
Vice President: Dr. Mahmoud Mohamed Mahmoud
A statesman who understands the suffering of the citizens, and possesses the ability to unite the ranks.
Secretary General: Professor Mohamed Ishaq
An academic figure and a strategic mind laying the first foundations for solid institutional work.
This leadership combines “knowledge”, “experience”, and “patriotism”.. and that is what we need today.
Reasons for Our Support and Endorsement of the Council:
Commitment to the Constitutional Deadline: The Council’s insistence on holding the 2026-2027 Presidential Elections on time is a guarantee for state stability and respect for the will of the people.
Somali National Dialogue: Holding the Council’s conference at the Airport Hotel – Mogadishu is confirmation that the solution is in our hands, we the Somalis. “Somali – Somali”.
Rejection of Exclusion and Quota Sharing: The Council came to say no to the policy of “brothers who are enemies” and yes to a state of citizenship and the rule of law.
Our Message
We support SPCC because it is a state-building project.
We support Dr. Abdulkadir, Dr. Mahmoud, and Professor Mohamed Ishaq because they represent the aspirations of a people exhausted by wars and seeking security and dignity.
